Our Story

Little Lifters was born from a simple moment between a father and his son. A moment of imitation. Of curiosity. Of connection.

Rich Hawkins has spent his life immersed in fitness. From Ironman races to launching brands like Gravity Fitness and Force Fitness, strength and movement have shaped his world. But nothing impacted him quite like seeing his three-year-old son, Saxon, try to copy his workouts in their home gym, lifting toy blocks, crawling under benches, doing squats beside him.

Saxon wasn’t focused on reps or results. He just wanted to join in and move with his dad.

That’s when the idea for Little Lifters took root.

From Father-Son Bonding to a Bigger Mission

Rich wanted to encourage Saxon’s curiosity and channel it into something meaningful. Beyond the fun and games, he saw a chance to help Saxon build strength, coordination, and lifelong habits. But when he searched for fitness toys for children, everything fell short, either gimmicky plastic, or unsafe imitations of adult equipment.

So he set out to create something better. Functional toys that kids could actually use. Tools that supported development and created real moments of connection.

That’s how Little Lifters began, with a mission to help kids move better, feel stronger, and grow in confidence through play.

A Business Built Together

As Little Lifters took shape, Rich made a bold decision, to launch the brand with Saxon as his business partner.

Of course, Saxon is still learning his ABCs and prefers play time in the gym with Daddy to managing spreadsheets. But Rich believes this is the perfect time to start teaching him about business, value, and creativity. Saxon proudly tells people about his business, tests every product, and gets involved in photoshoots and video shoots like a true co-founder.

Rich hopes that by being involved early, Saxon will grow up understanding what it takes to build something meaningful from solving problems to staying consistent, creating value to connecting with people. It’s not just about strength. It’s about ownership, belief, and starting from the basics.

Strength Starts Small

At Little Lifters, we believe strength isn’t about lifting heavy it’s about learning to move well.

Balance. Coordination. Posture. Core control. These are the movement patterns that set kids up for success not just in sport, but in life. From climbing stairs to carrying backpacks, a strong body gives kids confidence.

It’s About More Than Fitness

Little Lifters isn’t just about physical strength. It’s about connection. Confidence. Curiosity.

It’s about giving kids a reason to move, not because they’re told to, but because it’s fun. It’s about replacing screen time with active time. About helping children feel capable in their bodies. About creating space for shared experience between parents and children.

Rich found all of this through his own journey with Saxon and now other families are discovering the same through Little Lifters.

From Home Gym Workouts to a Movement

The first Little Lifters products were tested in Rich’s home gym, built for one small boy who wanted to lift like his dad.

Today, Little Lifters has grown into a movement used in homes, nurseries, and schools across the UK and beyond. Our products are trusted by parents, teachers, and coaches who want kids to move more, sit less, and build lifelong strength through play.

We’ve worked closely with child development specialists, physios, and early years educators to ensure everything we make is not just fun, but functionally sound. And we’re just getting started.

What We Believe

Little Lifters is built on five core beliefs:

Movement is a life skill — and should be taught early

Parents are role models — and the best training partners a child can have

Toys should build real-world skills — not just entertain

Strength is more than muscles — it’s confidence, control, and resilience

The Road Ahead

Little Lifters was never just about creating toys. It was about creating a better way to raise strong, capable and confident kids.

As we grow, our mission remains the same: to create screen-free, strength-based products that help kids move better, feel stronger, and fall in love with active play.

From our family to yours — Thank You for being part of the journey.

Let’s raise strong kids, together.
